I want to comment on one of the videos that is embedded in this browser section
of tributes to our country and troops. While it is objectionable and without
question has been planted in these honorable videos by one of our enemies, I feel
it is important to keep it here to show all of us the type of human beings
we are up against in this war on terror. Our troops are under attack
in this video and are praying to God to rescue them. For the terrorists,
their perspective is that our troops are cowards for praying to God.
Courageous men pray to God. Courageous men are not without fear, but
the fact that they are facing that fear and accepting that the God of all mankind
is there with them is what makes them courageous.

Cowards are those who blow up innocent children and adults along with themselves.
Cowards go forward and willingly take innocent lives to further their
corrupt and evil agendas. Cowards have succumbed to the evil one
and have been seduced by their own demonic and egotistical agendas.
Cowards are the terrorists and terrorist-supported nations who we fight in this war on terror.
Make no mistake about it, terrorists are cowards.

God Bless America and all nations who are courageous enough to stand up to the cowards of terror.

"Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall."

"I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to accomplish small tasks as if they were great and noble.....The world is moved along, not only by the mighty shoves of its heroes, but also by the aggregate of the tiny pushes of each honest worker."

"If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates me hates my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have seen and hated both me and my Father."

John 15:22-24

Let us not forget the meaning and purpose of Memorial Day. It is not just a holiday from work and school. It is a memorial of respect to all those who have served and most importantly, sacrificed their lives for our country. Please thank a veteran or active duty serviceperson today and let them know you appreciate them and all they have done and are doing to serve YOU. To my beloved veteran son, Jason, and his friends who have served in the US Marine Corps, THANK YOU. God Bless All Those Who Serve America.

THE TOLL

God, please relieve me of my misery, I have grown so tired of this war.
I dont know how to get the strength to continue as before.

It seems the harder we try to get ahead, the less we have to gain.
Please, God, help us know that what we do is not in vain.

We ask only that You be with us and guide us evermore.
The enemy of truth and peace seems always waiting at the door.

Condemnation comes so easy from those who give no sacrifice.
Please silence those who are unwilling to do their part or pay their price.

I know there have been many other countrymen who have cried out to you at night.
History is full of those who have taken up arms to lead a noble fight.

This enemy is so horrible that they kill babies, then run and hide.
They send their own children to their death with bombs attached to their side.

How can anyone be ambivalent about the task that is at hand?
God, please show all our countrymen what we all must understand.

That this war that we call terror, must be fought by one and all.
We must help each other cope and be united, strong, and tall.

THE TEST OF TIME

Will I forget these trying days, the uncertainty and hollow ways...........that others seem to pass for truth. How will I remember these days of my youth.

Will I reach my potential or lie half-broken, beneath the shroud of words unspoken.
Will I seek the honor of my ancestry, or flee from the responsibility.

Shall I walk with head high, or with shoulders hunched forlorn.
Will others look to me for guidance, or look at me with scorn.

Will the proffer of peace serve as a means to end the war,
Or will it just release the horrors all the more.

Have so many gone before only to be left in history.
Is the truth for which we strive, rife with problematic mystery.

Can I face the image in the mirror and know I must go forward,
Even though the duty of the day is one viewed untoward.

Will the foundation be shaken, will we find weve been forsaken.
When I return from one more tour, will I find an open door.

For, when years have passed, and my days grow dim, will I be proud of the time I've offered Him. Will I stand tall, and say I did my best. Will I be able to lay my head to rest......."

"JUST THE FACTS"....

Only about 1.4 million Americans, out of a population of 280 million, are currently serving in the U.S. military. That works out to just 1 in 200 Americans carrying the military burden for all of us. In World War II, an astonishing 1 in every 12 Americans was serving in uniform. In 1950, when the Korean War started, the figure was about 1 in 100. In the Cold War and the Vietnam War, it stayed steady at about 1 in 75, but by the Persian Gulf War, it was down to about 1 in 120. And now, after decades of reductions in the ranks and a growing population, it's just 1 in 200. The bottom line is that never in recent history have so many Americans been defended by so few.

LOOK TO GOD AND PRAY

If things don't seem to go your way,
just look to God and pray.
And if you've troubles through the day,
just look to God and pray.
He's always there to answer you,
to give you help in all you do.
So, if your day is going wrong,
just look to Him with your heart's song.
You'll find an answer to your prayer.
Just look to Him, He's always there.

"EMBRACE THIS GOD-LIFE. REALLY EMBRACE IT, AND NOTHING WILL BE TOO MUCH FOR YOU....THAT'S WHY I URGE YOU TO PRAY FOR ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, RANGING FROM SMALL TO LARGE. INCLUDE EVERYTHING AS YOU EMBRACE THIS GOD-LIFE, AND YOU'LL GET GOD'S EVERYTHING." MARK 11:22-24

I love an eloquent speaker. There has never been,
in my opinion, a more eloquent speaker than our Lord
and Savior, Jesus Christ. The following are some of the more
meaningful words spoken by some of our leaders of present
and past. Sometimes eloquence comes unexpectedly and from the unlikely. Our current President, George W. Bush, has been criticized for his perceived lack of eloquence. Nevertheless, he has a very persuasive way of piquing our interest and I find his style very sincere. Sometimes eloquence is not found in the flowery words of the high intellect, but in the humble words
of the average man.

"We have been the recipients of the
choicest bounties of heaven; we have
been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity;
We have grown in numbers, wealth,

But, we have forgotten God. We have
forgotten the gracious hand which
preserved us in peace and multiplied and
strengthened us, and we have vainly imagined
in the deceitfulness of our hearts,
that all these things were produced by

How far have we come in man's long pilgrimage from darkness toward the light? Are we nearing
the light--a day of freedom and of peace for all mankind? Or are the shadows of another night closing in upon us?"
